"Let’s get one thing straight, ladies. You are not your hair—frizzy, smooth, or limp. You are not your feet—colossal, average, or tiny. You are not your thighs—scrawny, muscular, or dimpled. You are not your looks. What you are is far more than the eye can see. You are your culture. You are your history. You are your quirks. You are your talents. You are your goals and accomplishments. You are your relationships. You are your spirit. And absolutely none of these things can be judged by a photograph.”
I’m a sucker for brown eyes in the first place, but yours are simply magnificent. They can be so comforting and inviting; or they can be filled with wonder and excitement. Either way, they are perfect. & I can tell so much of how you truly feel just by looking at them. They tell me things that you simply cannot. For example: when you’re tired, they get heavy. And that heaviness is beautiful in a strange way that I can’t even explain. When you’re happy, they get bright and there’s a crinkle that reveals itself where your eyelid meets your cheekbone. When you’re sad, the heaviness appears again and they get glossy and you tend to glance downward. And even when you’re calm, they have this glow that is, honestly, so incredible. Thank your eyes for capturing mine and making me fall for you more and more each day.
